Day 5: Some Days You May Just Be Sick!

As the title says, I was sick today :( Sadly, we couldn't do what we wanted to do today, which was go to see the Needles at Alum Bay. The Needles are these big cliffs that look like needles, (you probably guessed!) on the beach and there is also a chairlift to ride over them. Trust me to get ill on our holiday! But luckily I felt better in the evening so we walked down the road to have a look at the Cowes carnival, a yearly event with a parade of floats. I managed to get a few photos of the evening. 

I don't know if you can see, but this woman is holding a dog! 

No one told me Tom and Jerry were making an appearance :P

Now, at the end of the night, we treated ourselves to a tasty fish and chips at Corrie's Cabin (and a pea fritter!)

I never knew fish and chips could come in chocolate form!

Day 4: Dinosaur Isle!

Here is what I wore today, my black vest top from Primark, black blazer from Topshop and my lace skirt from H&M, just outside the house. As the title says at the top, our day was very much dinosaur orientated. As my brother LOVES dinosaurs, we decided to check out Dinosaur Isle, a museum all about, you guessed it, dinosaurs! It turned out to be quite good, but before that, even though it was raining and cold, we had an ice cream. Because thats how we roll! :P 

The ice cream parlour we went to was the awesome Bliss, that sells Minghella's ice cream. Minghella's is an amazing ice cream company that do any sort of flavour from plain old chocolate to gorgonzola and apple!

My ice cream; I had one scoop of peanut butter and one scoop of ginger and honey. Yum :D

After stuffing our faces with ice cream, we got on the bus to Sandown and arrived at the Dinosaur Isle.

When we finally escaped from all the dinosaurs, we had a walk along the beach to a cool beach bar for lunch.

I decided to take pictures of the cool interior inside! They had surfboards and posters all along the ceiling :)

Awesome! They even have a dolphin on the ceiling :D

Then finally on the way back we went on the chain ferry and saw these pieces of artwork on the walls done by local school children.

Day 3: Lazy Day!

Denim pinafore from Topshop, crop jumper from Primark and Converse, this is the outfit I wore on the laziest day of our holiday so far! We all had lie ins until 11 in the morning, and we decided to have a look around Cowes beach seeing as we hadn't seen it yet. It was quite a nice day, a bit windy, but just right for a walk along the beach!
