Chase & Status are a British electronic music production duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, MC Rage & Andy Gangadeen also make up the live band. The duo are from London, and formed in 2003 after meeting at university in Manchester. The duo have since released three studio albums as well as collaborating with major artists such as Plan B, Cee Lo Green, Rihanna, Example and Tinie Tempah.

Hype Rucksack!

As you can see I went all out and bought a new school bag for the new term! Surprisingly it came in the post quite quick, considering I ordered it in the evening on a Friday and it came yesterday :) I bought it off the amazing Hype.co.uk for £24.99. I had just heard of Hype from all the really cool galaxy rucksacks going round at school, and I knew that's where I wanted to look first for bag inspiration! Luckily for me I had the fab AKFB to help me choose this stunner of a bag...

I think it is really awesome, and I'm glad I chose that one as it is a bit different to your bog standard black bag. And of course the fact that I LOVE cats :D

(Miniature) Brixton Haul!

Brief shopping trip with the Mother after we dropped off my brother at the cinema for a birthday in Brixton. I never really realised before how cool Brixton is for shopping, with a H&M, Topshop, JD, Miss Selfridge and many more. But as you guys will probably know, shopping makes us girls (and boys) hungry! Brixton Village plays host to a range of multicultural restaurants, shops and cafes; and my Mum and I couldn't resist this little crepe cafe, Senzala. 

My Spanish crepe: chorizo, cheese and an egg on top. Yum! (They were hugggeeee!)

Now for the clothes! I got this feline jumper from H&M £14.99  £7.00

And this patterned jumper also from H&M, £5.99.

Finally, this Extra Firm Hold Hair Mousse from Superdrug, £0.99 as I think my hair needs a bit of a boost! :P

Tune of The Week no.1!

I suddenly had a brainwave a minute ago and thought it was just right to start it now! I have decided to each week write about an awesome song or artist that comes into my head and is my Tune of The Week (or TOTW!). Maybe not so new or my own idea, but I thought it might make this place a bit more exciting.  If you have any ideas or want to tell me about your favourite tune, comment or email!

BASTILLE

The song I picked by Bastille is Flaws. Bastille formed as a band in 2010, consisting of Dan Smith (the singer), Chris Wood, Kyle Simmons and William Farquarsons. Their debut album, Bad Blood, was released in April 2010, and since then they have been very popular. The name, Bastille, was named as the singers birthday is on Bastille Day (the day when the French palace Bastille was blown up). They are all from London. I wouldn't really know what genre Bastille are but the internet seems to be saying electro pop/rock/indie.

Antenna's American Diner - Crystal Palace!

Today was my Grandma's birthday, and for dinner we went to a new Miami themed diner in Crystal Palace, near where we live. My Dad is now the co-head chef at the diner, and we had been anticipating trying it out for along time. Antenna's American Diner is aptly named after the big television antenna in Crystal Palace park! 

Around the walls were retro pictures of Miami beaches :) ooh, wish i was there! (Really want to find out where these are from as they are awesome)

We had a range of desserts that we shared, including the delish rocky road and ice cream.

I painted my nails before we went out! My left hand is painted with a dark blue by Barry M...

And my right hand with gold. 

In the morning we had gone shopping in Bromley, and I bought this necklace from Topshop for £8 in the sale!! I used my £10 voucher from the gorgeous Fashion Detective ;) It matches my jumper too (Zara, £25)

Facebook Is 10!

Good Morning! (Or Good Afternoon, depending on wherever in the world you are at the moment!) This is just a tiny post as I should be getting ready for school, but I'm afraid my new computer has been distracting me :/ I have had a computer in my room for ages but the internet and keyboard didn't work, but know the internet works and one of my birthday presents was a new keyboard! So instead of pestering my mum for her laptop I can know blog and surf the internet in peace :) 

I have some new ideas for this blog, but as I am supposed to be getting ready for school, all i can say is:

Birthday Dinner and Party!

 

This one is a long overdue blog post on my birthday dinner and party! After school I got changed (of course!) and went to a new tapas restaurant near where I live with my family. We had never been there before except for drinks but it was very tasty indeed! The Havana House is sadly not a chain, but if you ever feel like popping down to Crystal Palace, I recommend it! We had a range of Spanish foods and they were all very pleasing.
