TOTW No.7!

I feel like this time of the week comes so often :) Recently I have started getting into Rudimental, and I really enjoy their music. I'm well jel as my Stepmum and Dad saw them live last year in Goodwood! Anyway, I think that their debut album, Home, is amazing. And the tune from that album that is the TOTW is...

Rudimental are an English electronic music quartet who are signed to Asylum Records and independent label Black Butter. The quartet consists of songwriters and producers Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor (Amir Izadkhah) and DJ Locksmith (Leon Rolle).

The group rose to prominence in 2012 when their single "Feel the Love", featuring singer John Newman, topped the UK Singles Chart,^[1] and for which they were also nominated for a BRIT Award in 2013. 

The group have released further singles, including "Not Giving In" (featuring Newman and Alex Clare) and 2013 single "Waiting All Night" (featuring Ella Eyre) which also topped the chart in the UK. More recently the group released "Right Here" featuring Foxes, "Free" featuring Emeli Sandé and “Powerless” featuring Becky Hill. Rudimental were named by the BBC as the festival band of the summer. In 2013 Rudimental’s album Home debuted at number 1 in the UK albums chart and was also nominated for a Mercury Music Prize.

Happy Mother's Day!

It's finally here! Happy Mother's Day guys :) We spent a part of the day in one of our local pubs, The Sparrowhawk, and then my dad cooked us lunch. 

This is the necklace we got our mum. It's Tatty Devine's Forget-Me-Not Charm Necklace, £30.00. We defiantly treated her there! 

This is the elephant brooch we got our nan. Not on the high street.com.

Mother's Day Approaches...!

As it is the penultimate day before Mothering Sunday, my parents decided to take me out for a tiny bit of shopping and dinner. It was a beautiful day today as well, so we had to make the most of it; especially as we live in England! As my mum is doing the Moonwalk on May 10th (with Jo Payton) she walked instead of taking the train to get ready for it. We went to Wagamama's for dinner, the best! 

My outfit:

I did my nails the day before in Barry M Matte, and these rings are from Primark. 

When we had the chance to pop into the shops I bought this khakki shirt in H&M £29.99  £10.00.

And these My Chemical Romance CDs, 2 for £10.

TOTW No.6!

It's that time again! This here is a song that I must thank AKFB(or Chloe now) for :) Chloe put this song up on her blog, on a recent blog post about the lovely Amy Gibbs and I didn't realise how good it is! Thank you for that :D I have listened to it loads since then and I love it!

I heard of this band from the lovely CaroliNerd! (I hear most great music from her) And this particular song is one of my favourites as I have loved the original for ages, but I really like this cover almost as much. 

Sleeping with Sirens is an American post-hardcore band from Orlando, Florida currently residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The band was formed in 2009 by members of For All We Know, Broadway, and Paddock Park.

London!

TOTW no.4!

This week's song is something that I heard from the radio a couple of weeks ago and after hearing it a few times I realised that I actually really like it! 

owan Jones, known by his stage name Route 94, is a British music producer and DJ from Richmond, London.^[3] Formerly producing dubstep as Dream, Jones has worked with the likes of Skream, Benga and Katy B. He now produces deep house and his debut single "My Love" has been a commercial success.

I have never heard of Route 94 or any of their music is anything like 'My Love' then I will defiantly be listening in for more!

World Book Day 2014!

It was that time of the year again where everyone gets there hair dye and outfits out for Book Day! At our school we could choose from a book, film or play character and there was a Ramona from Scott Pilgrim, a Tracy Beaker and a Mary! Above is Tallulah as Ramona Flowers and Chantelle as Envy Adams (Scott Pilgrim).

Our Art department had made a great effort and had done War Horse. They had made a cardboard horse and all the art teachers were in it all day.
