Day 2: Island Breezer!

Day 2 of our time in the Isle of Wight! Firstly, here is my outfit of the day, a lovely hand me down from Fashion Detective, http://www.fashiondetective.co.uk/ and my Converse. Now, today we used our weekly bus pass thing to go on the Island Breezer, an open top bus, very much like the ones in London, to have a tour around the island. We got on the chain ferry again off to West Cowes, and from there got the bus to Ryde. Then we got on the Island Breezer and stopped at a few stops. The first of which was Arreton Village, a small village with an arts and crafts centre. It had a few workshops and a nice cafe. Here is the day in pics:

A random lake on the way to Arreton.

My brother and me posing next to a model of a pirate ship and pirates, as there was a maritime museum.

YUM! The cafe I mentioned above came in handy for a quick snack! Homemade victoria sponge and coffee, just what we needed!

The cafe from outside.

A view I just wanted to take from the bus.

Someone get me out!! LOL!

After the village, we stopped off at Rosemary Vineyard, Ryde, where they make wine, cider and apple juice. It was actually a great place, even if you aren't old enough to drink alcohol! :P We had a tour guide to show us around the production areas, where they press the wine grapes and then a tasting session. Afterwards we had a wander through the vineyards.

A few wine souvenirs!

The big machines that mix the grapes and press them.

Thats a whole lot of wine bottles!

The field full of different sorts of grapes for the wine.

An old fashioned plough.

The last thing we did of the day was to stop off at Sandown, the beach! This is the pier we had a look on.

What a lovely day!

This was the lovely restaurant we had our lunch in, right on the sea front!

It was too cold to actually swim in the sea, but on the way back we had a little paddle :)

Day 1 Of Our Holiday: Ryde!

As I have the laptop and I have lots to share with you guys, I decided to do a post every day about my time here. So, the picture above is what I was wearing today! My new AX Paris shirt, £11.50 and my moustache leggings, Amazon £3.90 and of course my burgundy converse. This is the high street in Cowes where we are staying. Afterwards we decided to go to Ryde, a beachy place quite near.

My brother waiting to go on the chain ferry we had to get to East Cowes, across the estuary. We then had to get a bus to Ryde.

LOL! One of those cut outs that always seem to be at the beach. Unfortunately, I was forced into this one :P

Finally we got there. Loads of people were in the sea but sadly we had forgotten our swimming costumes. I think it was probably very cold though!

Us on the chain ferry on the way back from East Cowes.

Now, I couldn't miss this out! When we were having a wander through Cowes, we found this awesome clothes shop that sells lost property. The owners buy lost property from auctions and then sell the items in their shop, Cameo of Cowes. It may sound like something that any fashionista wouldn't do, they have great stuff in there! I just couldn't help buying something!

You may be thinking this is so not in right now, but for some reason I have always wanted a tartan skirt! I definitely couldn't resist it when it was only £1.00! Bargain :)

And, like mother like daughter, my mum brought this pretty daisy dress by Kate Moss Topshop, only £15.00! Now that really and truly was a bargain!! :D

Isle of Wight, Shopping and Amazon!

So, today my family and I arrived to the Isle of Wight! We are staying for a week in my godmother's house (have I mentioned before my godmother is amazing!?) in West Cowes, and hopefully the week will still stay as great as it has been for the last month or so. And luckily, we have the laptop so I will be able to post directly from the Isle of Wight! :D Yay! As any fashionista should know, before you go on holiday you should go shopping! And of course, thats what I did yesterday! Here they all are, perfect for the summer I think!:

Yes, if you have ever been on Another kinda fashion blog, you will probably recognise this denim shirt and the leggings below. I was browsing Amazon with my vouchers and I just loved AKFB and my good friends, style from her blog! I am very sorry viewers, (and AKFB!) but I just had to buy this! But please take a looksies at her awesom blog! http://anotherkindafashionblog.blogspot.co.uk/  Amazon, £11.99

Another fashion item from the amazeboz AKFB. Moustache fever all the way! :) Amazon, £3.90 (cheap, I know!)

I got this awesome two fingered ring from Claire's Accessories! KAPOW! £5.00

My lovely nan bought this really nice crop jumper from Primark!

Second hand clothing is sometimes the best. One of my mums friends gave away this pretty dress, and I couldn't resist! I always love an alice collar :)

Lastly, these red pumps from my nan again! Just right for the summer.

Now all I need to do now is add to my wardrobe with some awesome fashion from the Isle of Wight!

Go Local Olympic Park (McFly, The Feeling And Much More!)

Schools out for summer! Yay! Finally six weeks of sun, shopping trips and lie ins! :P And what a way to celebrate the end of the school year by going to the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford to watch McFly, The Feeling, Eddie Izzard and more and soaking up the warm summer atmosphere! Yes, after school I dashed home for a quick change of clothing, (I wasn't gonna let McFly see me in my school uniform!) I wore my aztec bodycon dress I brought whilst on my trip to France. Just right for the summer I think! So, this whole event was super cheap, £7.50 a ticket :O because it was made to persuade members of the public to become a volunteer for things like the olympics, concerts and festivals. Previous games makers were invited and supposed to take their friends and family along, but we still enjoyed it even though none of us were games makers. Sadly, that was the only day of that awesome event, but if you would like to take a look at some more olympic park events, here is the link: http://queenelizabetholympicpark.co.uk/

I loved these awesome balloon things hanging up in the entrance, and there is ferris wheel in the background.

The day was complete when we got our free hand pointers! I have always wanted those things! There is the dress I was talking about at the beginning.

More of those balloons! Oh, and the famous orbit in the background.

A lovely view of the river and the Pringle!

There it is again.

The stage where all the acts performed, and the big crowds!

Amazeboz ride! Sadly I didn't get a chance to go on it :(

The stage again.

Those burgundy Converse follow me everywhere!

There was an area where you could go and play a bit of free tennis.

Everyone is up and jumping! :)

The band The Feeling are on and the singer Dan Gillespie is on the big screen!

There he is again singing on stage with the bass players wife, Sophie Ellis Bextor also a famous singer.

LOL! My brother rocking to the music!

Enjoying a 99 Flake in the hot evening.

Me, also having a very nice ice lolly thing!

Even the crowds get to enjoy the spotlight for a bit on the big screen up at the front.

Those foam hands turned out to be very useful! Go frog, go! :P

Next up was The Greatest Hits Of The West End. These were a group of men and women who sang favourites of different musicals, like Footloose, We Will Rock You, Grease and more! They were really good, and everyone was up and singing along.

There they are again, dancing along!

You will never guess what, but Boris Johnson made a quick appearance to talk about the importance of   being a volunteer for different jobs and events!

There is Boris again, up on stage with Anika Rice and Tess Daley, (I actually quite like Tess's dress, its the white one with orange lace) who co presented the show.

You will probably recognise this girl if you watch Britain's Got Talent. Its Gabz, the young girl who can sing and play the piano. She came on and did a good performance.

Here we have a group of ladies called the Bond Quartet. They di a few pieces of music accompanied by their violins. Even though they have Bond in their name, they didn't play any Bond songs :(

On the big screen here is Eddie Izzard, the british comedian. He did a quick act. The crowd were, by then, just waiting for McFly to come on and play (I was one of them!)

Then we had to get up and the presenter had a little dance routine for us. Yet again those foam hands came in use! So, mum, my brother and me joined in.

On the screens behind the stage, they had put up little stick men who we had to follow to do our routine!

Finally McFly came on! The only reason why I came, of course! :P Dougie, Harry, Tom and Danny were awesome!

Theres Tom, rocking the stage!

I like at the end the big signs announcing McFly are on the stage!

At the end there was a epic finale of fireworks, but I didn't get a pic on time so thats why there is just smoke!

A beautiful sunset as we leave the park.

The orbit and the stadium just there in the middle of the crowds.

Fortunatly, we were right next door to Westfield, (best place ever, will probably have to make a trip down there during the summer!) so for dinner we went to T.G.I Fridays! Burgers and chips... mmm!

They were very nice in the resturant and made my brother a balloon hat. We all thought it looked a bit like the orbit?

On the way back we had to take a picture of this awesome map of the tube made of Lego! Must of taken a while.

A close up!
