World Book Day 2014!

It was that time of the year again where everyone gets there hair dye and outfits out for Book Day! At our school we could choose from a book, film or play character and there was a Ramona from Scott Pilgrim, a Tracy Beaker and a Mary! Above is Tallulah as Ramona Flowers and Chantelle as Envy Adams (Scott Pilgrim).

The lovely Leeann and Alice dressed as themselves :P

Thea as Belle from Beauty and The Beast.

I love this outfit! Orla dressed as Mr Fox from Fantastic Mr Fox, she really suits it :)

The gorgeous Caroline as someone from Divergent.

:D

I really need to make one of these! Caroline had made this really cool necklace out of little bottles filled with beads.

Perhaps the best outfit guys, Josie and Ciara... Mary and a random Scottish man...

Fabby AKFB dressed as Tracy Beaker (the hair says it all!)

Our Art department had made a great effort and had done War Horse. They had made a cardboard horse and all the art teachers were in it all day.

Book Day!

I know, I know, naughty me, I didn't post when I said I would but I have just been very busy! But anyway, lets get on with the awesome costumes of Friday. As you probably know, my school had a delay in us having book day because of construction work, but luckily, we had it yesterday. Here are the costumes! (Please take a looksies at AKFB's fab blog post on the same event: http://anotherkindafashionblog.blogspot.co.uk/)

Here we have Tallulah as Coraline. No, wait it is Coraline! :P

Tigger has come out to play! Am loving this cute tiger onesie. Get ready to bounce!

Here we have Caroli-Nerd rocking this Harry Potter outfit! If you would like to take a look at more of Caroli-Nerd's awesomeness, then here is her blog:http://carolinerd-turnthepage.blogspot.co.uk/. Looking like a true Gryffindor Caroli-Nerd!

Amy is dressed here as Alaska from Looking For Alaska by John Green (by the way, a REALLY good book and author). I really like her top and shorts. If you want to know where Amy got them from, here is her blog: http://theperksofbeingamy.blogspot.co.uk/.

Black converse, black leggins, black tutu, it must mean one thing, the Black Swan has arrived! AKFB is rocking in black!

Pretty in pink! The fairy has arrived...

I LOVE Deandra's costume!!! Geek chic coming through! I like how she has geeky glasses, a tie and you can't see, but she also used eyeliner to create the freckle effect! Go geeks!!

LOL! My amazeboz teacher dressed as Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmatians.

Hmm, I think I recognise  this girl from somewhere... Its me, dressed as a Greek goddess, as I said I would in my last post!

Cute and simple!

Kadisha is looking cool in her outfit (I don't know what she is dressed up as!)

Geek number 2! Onesie + Geek= awesome! This geek is ready for a sleepover I think!

Geek Power! :)

Aww, group pic!

What a great day! I wonder what I'm going to come as next year...

Greek Goddess!

This above is my costume for the book day! I decided to go as greek goddess as my mum had a costume that she wore for a fancy dress party. It has a strap sleeve and long flowy bits on the sleeves. I also like the effect on the dress where it flows from blue to cream. If you like this dress, then here is the link to the outfit website: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Goddess-Princess-Ahrodite-Fancy-Costume/dp/B00DEDO0YC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1372916511&sr=8-7&keywords=greek+goddess+costume+ladies. It also came with this gold wreath for the hair

Here it is! So, I am gonna wear this with my dress and converse;) I will do a blog post on Friday of all the costumes at school.

Finally, the other day I watched the movie Warm Bodies. I decided to review it.

Warm Bodies is set in the future and most of America has been hit by a zombie virus. Julie (the girl above) finds the zombie R and he kidnaps her. They start to develop a special relationship together. As their relationship grows, something peculiar starts to happen...
This movie is a really good film and is a zombie/romance/comedy film, but isn't really gory or that scary. I really enjoyed it and I thought it was funny and clever. If you are a fan of Twilight then you will love this! Overall, Warm Bodies is a great film and is good for anyone that likes a funny, zombie or a bit of romance!

New Blog, France and Book Day!

This is a short post just to say that one of my friends has just created a new blog called My Embarrassing Life, all about my friend's mishaps in life! She just started today but it is really good. Please take a looksies at: http://khailalolo.blogspot.co.uk/. There are also two things I am really looking forward to which are happening quite soon. One of them is: this Friday my school are having a book day sort of thing, as we didn't have one on the actual book day and our school is going to France in two weeks! :) I'm having trouble thinking of characters to come as, so if you have any ideas then either leave a comment or email me (my email address is on the side!). So please keep a look out in the very near future when I do my posts on these exciting events!
