Holiday Hair!

Before!
After!

So, like the title above, I decided to dye my hair using Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL! As it's the summer holidays, I was allowed to dye it, and I chose Schwarzkopf because I have used it before to dye my hair red and I really liked it. Right at the top is me with my natural hair colour, and above is me after I had used the dye. What do you think? I think it isn't that bright but next time I am gonna use two bottles of the stuff! But overall I am really pleased and can't wait to dye it another colour. Here are some other colours by this awesome hair company. What colour do you think I should dye it next? Leave a comment or email me at burgundyconverse@gmail.com.

Here is the colour I used on my hair! Purple Punk :) (The pic of me with my purple hair doesn't really look like the colour on the box, but its because I didn't use two bottles like it advised and in real life my hair is purpelier!)

I love this amazing pink colour, Shocking Pink, a colour I was thinking of dyeing my hair, but I couldn't resist purple as it is my fave colour! :D LOL!

Electric Blue, also a colour I am loving. Definitely a colour on my list!

This terrific trio, Pillar Box Red, Fiery Copper and Raspberry Rebel are perfect for brightening up anyone's hair!

Great for men and women, Cyber Purple.

They even have the awesome stuff in pots, Shake It Up Colour Foam. :)

Day 7: Goodbyes!

It was our last day today in the Isle of Wight :( but as my goodbye outfit I wore my aztec midi bodycon dress I got from H&M in France and of course, my burgundy converse! As it was our last day, we decided to spend the day in the town we had spent our holiday in, Cowes. First we went for a drink at The Waterside Inn, and then we went to the awesome Octopuses Garden Cafe for lunch. If you are into The Beatles then you would of guessed, this cafe was all Beatles themed! Now, my family really and Jo, creater of Fashion Detective, http://www.fashiondetective.co.uk/, love The Beatles, so this was a great lunch spot! Here are the last photos of our holiday :)

The lovely view from The Waterside Inn!

At the Octopuses Garden Cafe, posing with the menu.

All over the walls were really cool Beatles memorabilia, and this was one of them, a Beatles drum!

Every cool Beatles cafe should come complete with a jukebox! It was even more cool when we found out it worked ad we could dance to a few Beatles tunes while eating our food...

My yummy food, (steak and kidney pudding, beans and chips!)

They even had an Abbey Road by the toilets! :P

The front of the cool cafe.

On our way back on the ferry, the boys looking back over our time in the Isle of Wight...

The last pic out of the smeary window of the ferry :)

Day 6: Island Breezer No.2!

You have probably seen this dress before if you have had a look at past posts, but today I wore the dress I got second hand from one of my friends and my new red pumps my lovely nan got me. So today, our close friends Jo and her son Elliott, AKA Fashion Detective, the creator of the blog: http://www.fashiondetective.co.uk/ came over on the ferry to join us for our last full day :( and stay the night, so we decided to take them on the open top bus, the Island Breezer. We stopped at a nice pub for lunch and went to Ryde beach for a swim and a paddle!

The boys playing in the garden!

Enjoying the bus ride.

The awesome mums rocking the Island Breezer :)

The really nice pub we stopped at for lunch, The Hare and Hounds, Robin Hill.

After our very enjoyable lunch, we had a relaxing beach evening with the boys swimming, but us ladies just paddled!

Loving the paddling!

The rolling waves...

Again you can see the Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth.

And to end with, I just had to take a picture of Jo's outfit as I loved it so much. The awesome cowboy boots are from Kurt Geiger and the dress, Topshop.                  .

Day 5: Some Days You May Just Be Sick!

As the title says, I was sick today :( Sadly, we couldn't do what we wanted to do today, which was go to see the Needles at Alum Bay. The Needles are these big cliffs that look like needles, (you probably guessed!) on the beach and there is also a chairlift to ride over them. Trust me to get ill on our holiday! But luckily I felt better in the evening so we walked down the road to have a look at the Cowes carnival, a yearly event with a parade of floats. I managed to get a few photos of the evening.

I don't know if you can see, but this woman is holding a dog!

No one told me Tom and Jerry were making an appearance :P

Sombrero wearing ladies riding horses while doing the Gangnam Style! LOL!

Now, at the end of the night, we treated ourselves to a tasty fish and chips at Corrie's Cabin (and a pea fritter!)

I never knew fish and chips could come in chocolate form!
