Birthday, TOTW No.11 and Goodbyes!

Happy 1st Birthday blog! It's finally been one whole year since I started this blog and I did my first blog post on the JDRF Swish. It feels like ages ago that I started, and not just a year ago. I'm so glad that people actually read this and that my family have been supportive of me writing it. And of course thank you viewers for just viewing this!

Enough of that, now we have TOTW. This is genuinely amazing (in my opinion) and I'm so happy that i found it on Youtube. It's just so meaningful and awesome.

Finally, goodbyes! I'm going away tomorrow for a week (yay, missing a week of school!) on a school trip to the Lake District. It is a residential that a small group of my year are going to, with things such as rock climbing, camping, canoeing and kayaking to do. Really excited, but a little nervous as well as I haven't done some of these before such as camping and canoeing. So I won't be able to post :( but there will be loads of pics out of it!

Crawley Haul!

It's about time I went shopping! I haven't been in ages. Haul posts are probably one of the best blog posts in general, don't you think? So yesterday morning I got up super early with my Stepmum and we drove down to Crawley (West Sussex) to the big shopping centre. Luckily it was raining so it didn't matter that we were inside all day :) I had loads of vouchers left over form my birthday and Christmas, so I used them (and I had some help from my Stepmums purse :P Thanks!) I had exactly £40 for New Look and £75 for H&M! I spent £50 in New Look and £40 in H&M, so I still have some left. Ahhh... It was great as now I have more clothe for Summer and for my holiday in Spain coming up...

TOTW No.10!

We have reached week 10 of this weekly post! Quite surprised I have kept it up for this long, although I did miss a few weeks last month, but I had an excuse, promise! Well, to celebrate the 10th week (yeah, I really don't think this is a celebration Lily...) we have an absolute classic...

Basket Case by Green Day

I have started to love Green Day quite recently, but even after all their other amazing songs (Wake Me Up When September Ends, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams etc.) there will always be a special place for Basket Case in my heart. This song has been playing repeatedly on my iPod all week. 

Green Day is an American punk rock band formed in 1987. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, drummer Tré Cool and guitarist and backing vocalist Jason White, who became a full member after playing in the band as a session and touring guitarist for 13 years.^[1] Cool replaced former drummer John Kiffmeyer in 1990, prior to the recording of the band's second studio album, Kerplunk (1992)

TOTW No.9!

Back again! How have you all been? I am just so relieved as I did my 10 hour art exam this week, and now it's over :) yay! And it's a bank holiday weekend, woo! Now for the TOTW:

Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. 

I have actually known this song for ages but I only realised it was by Nirvana like, last week. LOL :P I really want to get into Nirvana so I as glad when I realised I already know some songs by then. It's just been in my head all week.

I found this awesome top in TKMaxx the other day when I bought the Grumposaur top but it didn't fit :( So awesome, and by David & Goliath.
