Another Catch Up!

As I said I would, I have the photos from Patrick and John's house in France! Above is their swimming pool.
This is the view from the balcony.
Secondly, it was my Mum's birthday yesterday. In the morning we went to the diner for breakfast and we went out in the afternoon.
My really nice Antenna breakfast.
The bluebells from my front garden #random
Finally, today we decided to go into town as it was a bank holiday. We went to Trafalgar Square where there was a Sani George's festival as it is St George's day on the 23rd.

Maypole.
We went to Soho where we had lunch in the delicious Honest Burger. I had a really nice iced tea and...

The Final Day (And a bit of chocolate!)

So guys, I'm back! It was only a short trip but it was nice to get away for a bit :) The flight was last night and it was a pain as it was late at night and it had already been delayed for some reason, but we got home in the end...

During the day though we had a great time in an AWESOME house. My Nans friends, Patrick and John have a holiday home in the south of France as well, but in the hills. They were down at the same time so we went up for lunch. And the house was jaw dropping. It was a traditional French home and had two floors but it was huge downstairs and there was a balcony. There was even a swimming pool and multiple gardens (!) I wished I lived there :D They made us a lovely lunch and we got a bit of a snoop around. I do have some pictures of the garden which I will defo show you next post.

I have also been at my Dads today and we went to a yearly Italian festival thing in town where they live. I also have some pictures of that but I will put them up next time. There was a range of things there, such as cheese stalls, pizza, wine and beer and even a showcase of Ferraris, which I personally think was the best bit! Here's the link if you would like to check it out: Horsham.

Finally, as I have run out of things to say here is a range of Easter eggs I liked the look of (as it's Easter this Sunday if you didn't know)...

Cannes Day 2!

Today we spent with my other Godmother who lives in France and my Godsister! We met them for lunch in one if our favourite restaurants in Cannes, Vegaluna. Vegaluna is right on the beach and has a few things for the kiddies to do :)

My mum and I had really nice milkshakes!
I felt really fancy as I tried something new today, beef carpaccio. Carpaccio means it is raw (!) I know it may sound horrible, but it was so good!
My nans beef and gorgonzola burger.
My latte...
Sonny's chocolate filled doughnuts.

On our way back home we passed some of the shops. Most of the shops in Cannes are designer, including Valentino, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Guess. I passed the designer Miu Miu and had to take a photo of this cute dress. Ahh. If only I had a spare €1600...
I treated myself to a bar of chilli chocolate and a bar of sesame seed chocolate.
Sonny and I added to our collection.
I also spent €10 on this cool skull bracelet!
                        My outfit:
Dress- H&M
(Laddered) Tights- M&S
Shoes- Converse
We're going home tomorrow :( #sad times

Cannes So Far!

So this is what we have been up to so far: been food shopping, gone for a walk, looked in the shops and gone to the beach. We are staying in the flat that my nan owns right near the beach and it is nice and near everything! The weather has been great so far, up to 22 degrees which defo means the shorts are coming out :)

Today we had a look in a really cool (and I mean REALLY cool) shop near the flat called Bathroom Grafitti, which sells tops, furniture and just general nick nacks. My brother and I found these awesome collectible doll things from Japan called Sonny Angels. Of course my brother wanted one as they are named after him :P there are different series from vegetable to animal but Sonny and I bought one from the Easter series.
This is my one, the white chocolate elephant.
And my bro got the bitter chocolate koala bear.
They were both €7.90 each.
I just can't get enough of these things and I'm going to do a blog post on them when I get back home. How sad am I?

I couldn't forgot the Air Maxes, could I?!

I buried my legs in the sand #yolo
                         My outfit:
Top- Primark
Shorts- TKMaxx
Shoes- Converse
I thought this outfit was quite simple, yet very summery!

France/Belgium!

I'm back! What a trip:) It was VERY hot and sunny, and seeing the battlefields and trenches was a really great experience. Our school visited In Flanders Fields Museum, the Somme, Menin Gate and Ypres, some in France and others in Belgium. The hotel we stayed in was awesome and lucky us, we got a two hour shopping time on the last day, including chocolate, rings and clothes! Here is a lot of snapshots of our holiday. (Some of these pics were taken by AKFB as my camera ran out of battery on the first day:( so some credit to AKFB! http://anotherkindafashionblog.blogspot.co.uk/)

Awesome chandelier in one museum we went to on the first day!

A sculpture in the same museum.

Creepy hand!

World war one aeroplane sculpture.

Wax model of a cute horse!

The trenches.

Amy casually posing next to a dying man!

World war one bombs.

World war propaganda posters!

Next we went to a cemetery with French and Flemish soldiers buried.

Another British, Canadian and American cemetery.

A plaque in a field.

French update!

Medals of the soldiers that fought.

AKFB is rocking this moustache orientated outfit! Just right for France!

Nice window!

Oooh, loving this jacket! Might go and see if they have any in Topshop! :P LOL!

The museum from outside.

Luckily AKFB brought her trusty French dictionary to help!

Our sketchbooks we got given for the activities.

Another of AKFB's cool outfits!

Poppy wreathes in the cemetery.

This was at Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium. This is a big memorial gate with lots of soldiers names inscribed in the stone. (Menin Gate is the pic at the top of this post.)

Finally AKFB, CaroliNerd and me in one of the fields!

As a little extra, I found this really quite nice poppy kimono from Topshop, £45.00. Goes with the world war one theme very well, don't you think?
