Brendon Boyd Urie is an American singer-songwriter, musician, guitarist, and pianist, best known as the lead vocalist of Panic! at the Disco. He also plays drums, bass guitar, accordion, organ, cello, violin, and trumpet.

TOTW No.12!

Oh the joys of exam week... Anyway, I know I haven't done a TOTW in a while, but to be honest I think this song can make up for it! Another one from Twenty One Pilots, but I think they are my favourite artists right now. I'm so glad that I found them!

Birthday, TOTW No.11 and Goodbyes!

Happy 1st Birthday blog! It's finally been one whole year since I started this blog and I did my first blog post on the JDRF Swish. It feels like ages ago that I started, and not just a year ago. I'm so glad that people actually read this and that my family have been supportive of me writing it. And of course thank you viewers for just viewing this!  

Ahh, memories...

You can't forget the burgundy Converse, the whole theme of my blog :D 

Enough of that, now we have TOTW. This is genuinely amazing (in my opinion) and I'm so happy that i found it on Youtube. It's just so meaningful and awesome.

Finally, goodbyes! I'm going away tomorrow for a week (yay, missing a week of school!) on a school trip to the Lake District. It is a residential that a small group of my year are going to, with things such as rock climbing, camping, canoeing and kayaking to do. Really excited, but a little nervous as well as I haven't done some of these before such as camping and canoeing. So I won't be able to post :( but there will be loads of pics out of it!

TOTW No.10!

We have reached week 10 of this weekly post! Quite surprised I have kept it up for this long, although I did miss a few weeks last month, but I had an excuse, promise! Well, to celebrate the 10th week (yeah, I really don't think this is a celebration Lily...) we have an absolute classic...

I have started to love Green Day quite recently, but even after all their other amazing songs (Wake Me Up When September Ends, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams etc.) there will always be a special place for Basket Case in my heart. This song has been playing repeatedly on my iPod all week. 

Green Day is an American punk rock band formed in 1987. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, drummer Tré Cool and guitarist and backing vocalist Jason White, who became a full member after playing in the band as a session and touring guitarist for 13 years.^[1] Cool replaced former drummer John Kiffmeyer in 1990, prior to the recording of the band's second studio album, Kerplunk (1992)

TOTW No.9!

Back again! How have you all been? I am just so relieved as I did my 10 hour art exam this week, and now it's over :) yay! And it's a bank holiday weekend, woo! Now for the TOTW:

Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. 

I have actually known this song for ages but I only realised it was by Nirvana like, last week. LOL :P I really want to get into Nirvana so I as glad when I realised I already know some songs by then. It's just been in my head all week.

I found this awesome top in TKMaxx the other day when I bought the Grumposaur top but it didn't fit :( So awesome, and by David & Goliath. 

Nirvana was an American rock band formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting being Dave Grohl, who joined the band in 1990.

TOTW No.8!

I know it's been ages, schoolwork and holidays. But here you guys go! Finally I chose this song after a few minutes trying to decide what song to do. There is just so many awesome songs out there right now! I have recently got into into Lana Del Ray and I chose this song for this weeks TOTW:

Her sophomore album, Born to Die, was released in January 2012. Finally, today I went out for lunch with my Grandparents and family to a restaurant, Smith & Western. I have actually blogged about S&W before, but I just thought I would show you what I had. Above is my pulled pork quesadilla.

I feel like this time of the week comes so often :) Recently I have started getting into Rudimental, and I really enjoy their music. I'm well jel as my Stepmum and Dad saw them live last year in Goodwood! Anyway, I think that their debut album, Home, is amazing. And the tune from that album that is the TOTW is...

Rudimental are an English electronic music quartet who are signed to Asylum Records and independent label Black Butter. The quartet consists of songwriters and producers Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor (Amir Izadkhah) and DJ Locksmith (Leon Rolle).

The group rose to prominence in 2012 when their single "Feel the Love", featuring singer John Newman, topped the UK Singles Chart,^[1] and for which they were also nominated for a BRIT Award in 2013. 

The group have released further singles, including "Not Giving In" (featuring Newman and Alex Clare) and 2013 single "Waiting All Night" (featuring Ella Eyre) which also topped the chart in the UK. More recently the group released "Right Here" featuring Foxes, "Free" featuring Emeli Sandé and “Powerless” featuring Becky Hill. Rudimental were named by the BBC as the festival band of the summer.
