Birthday, TOTW No.11 and Goodbyes!

Happy 1st Birthday blog! It's finally been one whole year since I started this blog and I did my first blog post on the JDRF Swish. It feels like ages ago that I started, and not just a year ago. I'm so glad that people actually read this and that my family have been supportive of me writing it. And of course thank you viewers for just viewing this!

Enough of that, now we have TOTW. This is genuinely amazing (in my opinion) and I'm so happy that i found it on Youtube. It's just so meaningful and awesome.

Finally, goodbyes! I'm going away tomorrow for a week (yay, missing a week of school!) on a school trip to the Lake District. It is a residential that a small group of my year are going to, with things such as rock climbing, camping, canoeing and kayaking to do. Really excited, but a little nervous as well as I haven't done some of these before such as camping and canoeing. So I won't be able to post :( but there will be loads of pics out of it!

Yesterday was the young man's birthday! Sonny turned eight and here are a few pics of the day :)

Antenna's American Diner - Crystal Palace!

Today was my Grandma's birthday, and for dinner we went to a new Miami themed diner in Crystal Palace, near where we live. My Dad is now the co-head chef at the diner, and we had been anticipating trying it out for along time. Antenna's American Diner is aptly named after the big television antenna in Crystal Palace park! 

Around the walls were retro pictures of Miami beaches :) ooh, wish i was there! (Really want to find out where these are from as they are awesome)

We had a range of desserts that we shared, including the delish rocky road and ice cream.

In the morning we had gone shopping in Bromley, and I bought this necklace from Topshop for £8 in the sale!! I used my £10 voucher from the gorgeous Fashion Detective ;) It matches my jumper too (Zara, £25)

Birthday Dinner and Party!

 

This one is a long overdue blog post on my birthday dinner and party! After school I got changed (of course!) and went to a new tapas restaurant near where I live with my family. We had never been there before except for drinks but it was very tasty indeed! The Havana House is sadly not a chain, but if you ever feel like popping down to Crystal Palace, I recommend it! We had a range of Spanish foods and they were all very pleasing.
